Good for you!

Must be something in the air. I've been dry for weeks, then pounded out 13 pages today.

Happy writing.

13 pages is a lot. Sweetness! Write on!

Jonathan, you're a natural writer. Even when you're not physically writing, I'm sure it's all going on in your head. But I know that "great" feeling.

If only I could sell what's going on in my head, eh? But thanks...seriously.

Any writing on your end?

I've been really busy since January. Short stories in books due out in 2009, and I just finished another single author title that I haven't started shopping yet. It was weird, Jonathan, this novel (mainstream) came to me very fast, which doesn't happen often for me. Almost too fast, and I'm not sure how anyone's going to respond to it. So I'm going to edit and revise for a while until I feel more secure about submitting.

Congrats on the short stories! And the quick novel!

How long did the writing take you?

A five or six thousand word short story will probably take about a week if the story is already in my head. The novel, which is 90,000 words, took about two months. But that's unusual. With me there's never really a set time pattern.
