The sad thing is that while I'm a Christian, many of my encounters with and impressions of people who broadcast their faith have been negative.

Jonathan, you're going to hit me on the head with a hammer, but I can't vote because I don't like any of the answers. You could click all of these answers once, if you were talking about some Christians. But you could also click them all once if you were talking about any religious orientation. Many of the Christians I know could best be described as "faithful", "trusting", "curious" and "enlightened".

I think Ryan's got a good point. I had trouble voting here because many of these attitudes are attitudes of the vocal minority of Christians. It's tough to characterize a group of millions or billions of people.
